Rev. Lisa Friedman grew up Unitarian Universalist in Rochester, N.Y. from the age of 7. She has served congregations in New York, Michigan, and Minnesota for the past 26 years. She is passionate about building strong, multigenerational communities that make a difference in the world and is excited to join UUCM in shared ministry. Outside of congregational life, she is active in the broader Unitarian Universalist community. She teaches UU history, mentors new ministers and supports other congregations through times of change and growth. In her spare time, she loves to bake, garden, and travel. Rev. Lisa lives in Northeast Minneapolis with her husband and has two young-adult sons, Ben and Sam.
